Shape
How far the bite is offset. Small numbers give a thin crescent, large ones a fat one.
Draws a second, dashed outline that far outside the finished line — cut to the dashed line, grind back to the solid one.
Printing
Set scale to 100% and turn off “fit to page” in the print dialog, or the template will not come out at true size. A check box prints on the first page so you can measure it before cutting anything.

Scaled to fit here. It prints at the size listed above.
Getting a true-size print
Browsers shrink pages to fit by default, which is fine for a receipt and useless for a template. Set the scale to 100% — in Chrome it is under “More settings”, in Safari it is the Scale field.
Then measure the check box on the printed page before you cut. If it is not 50 mm across, nothing else on the page is right either.
Paper stretches a little with humidity and printers are not perfect, so treat a printed template as accurate to about a millimetre. For anything that has to fit a mold exactly, check it against the mold itself.
