The information here is educational
Firing schedules, temperatures, hold times, color matches and everything else on this site are provided as a starting point for your own testing. They are not instructions guaranteed to work in your kiln.
Kilns read temperature differently. Glass thickness, shelf position, kiln size and age all change how a schedule behaves. A schedule that works perfectly in one studio can crack a piece in another. Test on your own equipment before you commit real work to it.

Kiln work involves very high temperatures, sharp glass, and equipment that can cause serious injury, fire or property damage if misused. You are responsible for operating your own kiln safely, following your kiln and glass manufacturers’ instructions, and using appropriate protective equipment and ventilation. Nothing on this site replaces those instructions.

This site and its tools are provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. There’s no guarantee the information is complete, current or accurate, or that the site will be available or error-free.
Limitation of liability

About the glass data
The Color Pairing Tool matches against color data published by Bullseye Glass. That data describes unfired sheet glass, and glass changes in the kiln — treat a match as a shortlist to go and look at, not a purchasing decision. Product ranges, style numbers and colors also change over time, so confirm anything you’re about to buy with Bullseye or your retailer directly.
