for the studio, not the shelf

Check it before you fire it.

Glass is expensive and a firing takes hours. This site is the practical layer — tools, patterns and reference material that answer one specific question at the moment you actually have it.

the problem

The swatch isn’t the fired color.

Bullseye alone runs to 174 sheet colors across opalescent, transparent and tint lines, and those lines behave differently once they’re fired. Choosing a second or third color that actually works with your base usually comes down to holding sheets up to a window and hoping.

Meanwhile the advice online is either a gallery of finished pieces or forum threads of wildly uneven quality. Neither helps at 9pm when the kiln is loaded and you have one sheet of Tangerine left.

The Color Pairing Tool

A color wheel built for glass, not paint. Pick a color, choose a harmony, and see the closest real Bullseye sheet for every point on the wheel.

Open the tool

  • 174 real sheet colors

Bullseye’s own published color data, across the opalescent, transparent and tint lines — filterable, because those lines don’t behave alike.

  • Six harmony schemes

Complementary, split-complementary, analogous, triadic, tetradic and monochromatic.

  • Links straight to the product

Every match links to Bullseye’s own page for that style number, so you can check it against the source before you buy.

The reference you check before you fire.

Not a gallery. Not inspiration. The place you open when you need one specific answer and you need it right now.
